A Country Practice Veterinary Clinic

A Country Practice Veterinary Clinic is a Small Animal Vet Clinic based in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and was established in 2012 by Caroline Mounsey MVB. We have an experienced and dedicated team of vets and nurses and we aim to give a high level of care to you and your pets.

Our consultations are by appointment and can be booked by calling 067 33725. We offer appointments throughout the day.

We have a fully equipped operating theatre. We believe patient safety to be a priority and so we use the most up to date anaesthetic equipment. During anaesthesia all patients are monitored by a Veterinary Nurse along with our multiparameter monitor, which reads airway gas,  pulse oximetry, blood pressure, ecg and pulse rate.

We use digital radiography and ultrasound for imaging.

We have an in house laboratory with the latest blood and urine testing equipment. We can run haematology and biochemistry in house and obtain results soon after. We are also able to test thyroid levels, progesterone and cortisol levels. Where necessary we also send samples to a dedicated external pathology laboratory.

Emergencies and out of hours calls

In an emergency situation we will endeavour to see your pet as soon as possible. In the event of an emergency when the clinic is closed, please telephone the clinic on 06733725 and a recorded message will give out the on call vet's mobile number.

There is a large customer car park beside the clinic for customers use.
